These terms govern your use of QuickKit. They're written in plain English because terms nobody reads protect nobody.
Acceptance
By accessing or using QuickKit, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. There's no account to create and nothing to sign — using the tools constitutes acceptance.
Free service, provided "as is"
QuickKit is provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work hard to keep the site fast, accurate and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Acceptable use
You may use QuickKit's tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You may not: abuse or overload the service (including scraping at disruptive volumes or automated hammering of pages); attempt to interfere with, probe or disrupt the site's infrastructure; misrepresent QuickKit's output as professional advice; or use the tools to process content you have no right to process. Since the tools run in your own browser, what you compute locally is your responsibility.
Accuracy disclaimer
Our tools are aids, not authorities. Calculators, converters, checkers and generators are built and tested carefully, but you should independently verify any result that matters — financial figures, legal deadlines, eligibility dates, medical or safety-related calculations, and anything else where an error would have consequences. Generated passwords and UUIDs are created with your browser's cryptographic randomness, but your overall security depends on how you store and use them.
Intellectual property
Your text stays yours. We claim no rights whatsoever over anything you type, paste, generate or compute with our tools — and since that content never leaves your browser, there's nothing for us to claim in any case. The QuickKit name, logo, site design and original written content are ours; please don't copy the site's design or branding for a competing service.
Third-party services and links
The optional newsletter uses Beehiiv to manage subscribers and send email. QuickKit may also link to third-party websites for documentation or reference. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices of those sites, and a link does not imply endorsement. QuickKit does not display third-party advertising or use affiliate links at launch.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickKit and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — or any loss of data, profits or goodwill — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service: zero.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes will be flagged clearly. Continued use of QuickKit after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
