The short version: your tool input never leaves your browser. Every QuickKit tool processes your data locally on your own device with JavaScript. We never see, transmit, log or store the text, passwords, JSON or anything else you enter into a tool. Newsletter subscriptions are optional and are handled separately by Beehiiv.
What we don't collect
QuickKit has no user accounts or logins, and you never need to provide an email address to use a tool. We do not collect the content you process with any tool. There are no keystroke loggers or session recorders embedded in the tools themselves. When you close the tab, nothing you typed into a tool remains anywhere, including with us.
Newsletter subscriptions
If you voluntarily subscribe to QuickKit updates, the signup form sends your email address to a secure QuickKit endpoint hosted by Cloudflare. That endpoint passes the address and basic signup source information to Beehiiv, our email provider, so Beehiiv can confirm and manage your subscription and send the newsletter. Your email is never combined with anything you enter into a QuickKit tool. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe option.
Local storage, cookies & preferences
We store one preference in your browser's local storage: your theme choice (light or dark). This data lives only on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings. The newsletter form does not embed Beehiiv's website and does not add a Beehiiv tracking cookie to QuickKit.
Analytics
QuickKit does not include third-party analytics, tracking pixels or session-recording scripts at launch. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes basic request information to deliver and protect the site, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser details. Tool inputs are never included in these web requests. If we add site-wide analytics later, we will update this policy before enabling it.
Advertising
QuickKit does not display third-party advertising or use affiliate links at launch. If advertising is added later, it will be clearly labeled and this policy will be updated before any advertising or measurement technology is enabled. Tool inputs will never be shared with advertisers.
Data security
Tool data never reaches us, which keeps it outside both QuickKit's and Beehiiv's systems. The site and newsletter endpoint are served over HTTPS, the Beehiiv API credential is stored as an encrypted Cloudflare secret, and all tool computation happens in the sandboxed environment of your own browser. Newsletter subscription data is also protected by Beehiiv's systems and access controls.
Children's privacy
QuickKit is a general-audience utility site and is not directed at children under 13. The tools require no personal information to use, and the optional newsletter is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has subscribed, contact us so the address can be removed.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes that materially affect how data is handled will be flagged prominently. The local-first design of the tools — no uploads, no accounts — is a permanent architectural commitment, not a policy we intend to revise.
